How can i convert the collision normal of a P deflector into an emitter orientation ?

Convert the Event Normal value from the PDeflector node to a matrix using a Vector2Matrix node, then pass this value to the Local Matrix of the emitter.

THe Vector2Matrix node will convert the Normal into a Matrix you can directly use with PStorm.

thank you , worked nice,

Is there a way to create an effct like the one on the cebas homepage, where TP is used to
let shatter the bark of a trunk ? that shattering is very realistic, it looks like every particle is a real rigid body.

CEBAS writes: Note only the parts hitting the ground become fragmented. At the maximum force of impact the fragments are much smaller! Such a complex behavior can never be animated manually and ThinkingParticles is the solution.

can the cinema TP manage this also in this quality? Somehow the Pfragment let shatter the whole object instead of fragmenting only parts that hit the ground. And it seems, that the fragment's size do not depend in cinema on the force

Is there a way do do this without killer programming skills in cinema?
