amazingly realistic buddy but just one little thing I think that the prespective is a bit too odd, i mean considering its hanging length the ack wall seems bit too high and the the bulb wire is not that long, MAY BE ITS JUST ME. great work anyway

Great work!
What i like most is the title: i guess the term "Russian Chandelier" (only a Bulb in a socket) is only used in Austria.

I love the tones and the composition of your picture. Shaders and lighting are great !
I just don't like the noise that we can see around the hole zone in the ceiling (hope it's the correct word, not sure) and in the edges wall/ceiling, certainly due to the z-depth.
I'm fond of this kind of pictures, showing a very usual object and making it appear in a nice and realistic picture. Great work !

A bit boring on the color, because the bulb isn't lit on.... All colors are cool tone and so it is not interesting, if the bulb isn't glow in orange, and see the "glowing line".

thanks guys for all the replies, keep it up!
@ dickma: there is no need to light a lightbulb up just because its a lightbulb. sometimes the real life is boring to look at but when moronart looked at it he smiled because he knows the scene :D
@ bostoph: ich denk auch, dass der ausdruck nur in oesterreich gebraucht wird :)
