Would you people quiddit with the 'well I ain't never seen one of them, so I dunno what it's sposed to look like' comments? We don't have to have SEEN one to think it looks wrong. Our job is ABOUT making things nobody's ever seen look RIGHT. :hmm:

Yuck, I like it not. Mr Hyde from the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen trailer showcases how to do big ugly monster guys well; he really sits in the scene. Hulk sadly, does not.

I think it looks pretty good. They went for a classic Hulk look and tried to mantain Eric Bana's facial features. It's pretty spot on, it looks like the hulk most people are familiar with and it looks like Eric Bana. Can wait to see him in motion.

He is pretty darn huge though..

Blecch!:annoyed:

It's Shrek with a human head! Run away! Run away!

I think my 10 bucks will be going to another movie. Definitely not this one. (This is not drool. It's vomit)

I like it, and the size is a fresh new take.

but

As I said it before and I´ll say ut again:

- I don´t agree with that shade of green, it´s TOO light.

- I´d have preferred the more bestial Hulk Alex Ross designed for the Earth X series, this one is TOO human. I can sense Suspension of Disbelief having a hard time letting its voice being heard.

But I´ll definitelly go see it, Ang Lee and Jennifer Connelly have never let me down before.

I think the shading is too velvety and soft.. and his face is too cartoony? Even though the Hulk is a good guy I'd think he'd look scarier than this. .. this version almost looks hugable like a nice plush toy or soemthing.

I have to admit that I think Lou Ferigno made a better hulk as an actor in green paint. Given what was down in LOTR it wouldn't be too hard to make an actor look like he is 15 feet tall.

It looks to me like they are trying to use the more exagerrated proportionsof the comic book character but the face is really lacking some how.. the facial features could be more exagerrated.

They look better than I thought they would. When I first heard of a "hulkdog", I was very scared and for all the wrong reasons. A picture of the toy scared me more. This image makes me feel a little bit better.

Altought the pic dosen't show a clear pic of the hulk i'm afraid of some points there...!
Think with me!
When Banner transform hinself in the hulk all his clothes are distroyed partially or literally... The hulk aways end up with a tear off pant or so... Well please now... How Banner pants get so bigger on that picture? I mean look at it... The Hulk leg is bigger than Jeniffer Conelly... Hell that's an enormous pant huh???
Well the only beliveble solution here would be Hulk getting a blanket or some kind of big rug somewhere... I hope the producers don't screw up the movie with this kind of flaw... PLEASE!

I'm a big Hulk fan, and i'm very anxious and exited about the flic!
Hope things go well there!

One of Banner's lesser known scientific acheivements was his patented hulk stretch pants. The material has the washability of polyester but with %500 stretch factor of Lycra. He teamed up with the costumers of Chip and Dales and came up with a pants design that would split in all the right places yet still provide the minimum amount of coverage that a growing hulk needs to be modest yet still be comfortable.

The producers of the movie thought about givng the Hulk a giant g-string but they thought that might cause them to lose their PG rating. CGtalk offered to sponser the g-string but the producers had to change their minds.

From the trailers I saw at the movies...and they showed several scenes with the Hulk's face...the thing that stood out most about this CG character was that he looked (his face) extremely boyish. He reminded me more of a big, green Bob's Big Boy figure than the Incredible Hulk. I am hoping that the movie will cinch it though and deliver the goods.

he's big but i like it, it reminds me of the dale keown hulk era.

and while there's something about it that looks "off", i'll wait until i see it in motion before i decide for sure. hell, i look "off" in still pics too ;)

and with ang lee directing, i'd watch it even if hulk had the puppet sticks that the muppets had :D

The HULK needs black hair.
I wondered about the trouser thing, too :)
On the shot it looks really like they gave him a rug, which is a good idea.
I doubt that they will put in flaws like that today anymore, since the X-Men, the "logic" has been more important than ever, Spidey showed it with the net beeing shot out of his wrist not just some kind of net gun.

I am looking forward to the HULK :)
He could look meaner though...but I didn't like the ape like Ross-Hulk at all, so this one is okay for me.
Cant wait to see him JUMPING !!!

I'll say here, what I've been quoted around my office for saying already...

If at some point during the movie I don't hear: "HULK SMASH!" i'll demand my money back.

That being said, the pants thing always bothered me with the comic books, but this is insane...

...his waste has to be like a 500...

BTW... how many pair of purple denim jeans did Banner own? I don't know about you, but I'd be suspicious of a guy who bought that many pair of purple denim pants.

Freak.
