View Full Version : UVW Xform

Hello everybody,

Has anyone worked with the UVW Xform in 4.2?

I animated the V offset feature on a lofted pipe to simulate a flow
of energy.

When I play in a shaded viewport, it works just fine. But when I render it, there is no movement. Normally, I would just animate a UVW modifier through a translation, but my lofted pipe goes off in different directions in xyz.

Can a UVW coordinate be animated on a polygonal object? I'm pretty sure it can, unless there is something I'm not understanding about this? Perhaps it's a bug or I'm doing something wrong?

Never mind, Solved it.

You have to use very small numbers, in this case, between 0 - 1
I was using very large number, because I was thinking of the scale of my project, when in fact most UV coordinate systems work between 0-1.

Sorry.:D
