I am trying to select the noed in the graph editor and move them with the middle mouse and it usually works, but for some reason when i try to do it now i just get a small white circle over where ever i click and it wont let me move anything.

It might be because your using the Select Tool.

Try using the Move Tool to selct and move keyframes in the Graph Editor.
