Hey guys,
I went ahead and purchsed the wire plugin from Paul (and it has been great so far), and I would like to know if someone has done the following:
I am trying to create a morph effect from wire to no wire. For example I apply the wire shader to a cube and the wire is fully visible on the top of the cube, but half way down it is 50% visible and at the bottom it is completely gone. Can this be done?
Thanks....aj

yes, simply use a bhodinut fusion. in whatever channel the wire shader is in. then inside the fusion mix the wireshader and a gradient together. I have seen one animation of a WIP car model done by one of the testers, where it went from nothing, to the wires shwoing up. then he used a copy of the model to fade in under the wirframe, then used the gradient again to animate the wieframe disappearing leaving the sold mesh.

I woud recommend using the C4D gradient and not the bhodinut gradient as you can animate the C4d grient over times with key frames.

You should be able to do that with the SLA Fusion Shader....

Create a Fusion Shader in the color channel of your Texture, put the wire shader in the first channel, and the regular texture of the cube in the other.
Blend those two with a gradiant from black to white. That should do the trick...
(If I understood correctly what you want to do ;) )

EDIT: Kaskai was a little faster... :D
