Are you asking about the live area of your tablet or the canvas area of Painter?

spiderspy,

If you want to have the Canvas fill the largest possible area of the Painter screen:

1. Use Window > Screen Mode Toggle (or use Ctrl/Command+M). The image window border, and icons in the upper right and lower left corners of the image window are no longer visible. The main menu bar will remain visible and there's no way to change that.

2. Click the Magnifier tool (or click the M key).

3. While the Magnifier tool is still active, on the Property Bar:

Click the Fit on Screen button. The image now fills the screen up to the largest image dimension, either Width or Height.
Click the Actual Pixels button to view the image at 100% zoom.
Click the Center Image button to center the image on the screen.
4. If you need to zoom in, then want to move the image around to see other areas, while the Brush tool is active, hold down the spacebar to temporarily activate the Grabber tool, then click and drag. When you let go, the Brush tool will again be active.

5. To return to normal view, again use Window > Screen Mode Toggle (or use Ctrl/Command+M). You can also use the spacebar in this view, to move the image around in the image window when zoomed in.
