Hello there!

I'm looking for reference, for ancient Greek warriors. Looked in here (http://artrenewal.com/asp/database/contents.asp)and here (http://www.wga.hu/index1.html) , but only found a piece by DAVID, Jacques-Louis called "Leonidas at Thermopylae".

Does anyone have anything else in mind?

When making period characters, I always buy a relevant Osprey title:

These are slim books with B&W photos, drawings and about 10 illustrated colour plates. I own this one which covers the armies of various Greek city states:
