I just joined a few days ago. So here are a few roughly sketched ideas to give an sense of where I'm headed.

My concept is about some fire demons outing for ice cream. Because sometimes you want what you really just can't have.

Right now I'm testing out different compositions with an ice cream truck.

It's missing a few things in the composition but I think this is the basic set up I'm going with. I'll work out the placement next and a couple other problems. Then I'll do my line art.

I realized i haven't posted since my line art. I'm starting to make head way. I finally got the glow i was looking for which has spurred some motivation. Starting to put things together so I'll be able to post a full composition soon.

Four days left. One day to do the background. One day to finish figures. One day to add details seamlessly merging everything. One day to piss and moan about the results.

Still need to finish the chica's slurpy. But I'm going to skip it for now and do the background. Since I have a feeling that's really what's going to determine if this piece is going to work or not.

The story behind the image is a few fire demons outing for ice cream. A tale of wanting that which you can't really have. You could say they have a very rare form of lactose intolerance, they're made of fire.
