View Full Version : thousands of brick particles problem!

hi, I am trying to use particle flow to get a building to deconstuct. SoLiTuDe helped me find a tutorial on this in the main max forum and I am adapting the script to suit. but the problem I am having is the sheer amount of bricks involved.

I think it's based on bobo's script

Does anyone have any techniques to deal with this.

you could probebly try and avoid the useMesh in the birthscript and use instance shape instead.
this way you could hide the shape when not used and turn it on before rendering.

haven`t saw your file so I might be mistaken
