Greetins from Berlin - germany, first time post here. I am mainly trying to dig shag hair here and get a nice tooth material. Thats also where i like to get some feedback
I use 3DS Max with the standard renderer and lighttracing switched on.

Ok good start!
At the first look the skin material is too blue. You should adjust down the amoud of specular.
The eyes looks also too reflectiv to me.
Your lighting is a little too hard for a woman face.
;) keep on!

logotomie that is one nice model. I rarely see someone that can style Cg hair that well, looks so natural. I would work some on the skin shader though lacks depth.

Really nice work.

Can't wait to see the rest of her.

Nice. Models almost never smile when I see them. Maybe I'm not that good looking that they would smile, but this one did.

All though the shadow in the cheak (going to ear) seemed like beard at the first look, but when I think it as a shadow, it's a great model.

More like this.

Thank you for your fast coments :-)!

The image is kind of a quick test render , so the shadows are a bit grainy and the hair aliases a bit. The image has a slight glow on it which washes out the skin details. I will leave it out next time. I dont know if i will paint a real skin texture as the target resolution for the image is just 102x128 :-) )
I will turn down the bluishness of the main light and turn down the side specularity (specularity is controlled via a falloff)

I will probably stick with the harsh lighting as i want a bit of agressivity in the image.
Any comments on the teeth? I dont trust my own eyes any more as i tweak the material for quite some time now :-)

Ok small update here, warmer lighting, less highlight and blue and only 70 percent smiling. And a bald shot for all the people who like such women and the mesh. And a little bit less reflection in the eye.
