View Full Version : How to links object to both hands??
jussing 04-09-2003, 06:57 AM Hi folks!!
OK, I'm building a guy holding a shot-gun in the typical way: grip in his right hand, barrel in his left.
So how do I go about this?
I can link it to the right hand, and "estimate" the left hand into position, but that'll make it slide in his hand...
Any suggestions? Please! ;)
Cheers,
- Jonas

I know how to do it in Character Studio. There is something like object space i Key Info/IK rollout. Using arrow in IK section select shotgun, set a sliding key IK blend=1, Join to Prev IK key = off and set object space. A few frames later set planted key. Between those two keys hand will hold grip on weapon.
Hope this helps.
Regards.

Thanks a billion!!
I'm not using Character Studio, but I believe the IK controls are available with regular bones, too.
