That is beautifull. It really brings out the animated side of a flour sack. Great job.

That's a really cool rig. I loved the Bottom control (it was a lot of fun to make it dance). Was that a lattice that made it move like that, with controls for the belly and bottom?







side note: anyone know when the next challenge will be?

yeah, the lattice was used to get extra control of the belly influence.

Dude, this is an awesome design and rig. I totally want to play around with it. Make a walkcycle perhaps. :D

Lovely looking rig looks really wicked makes me wish i could afford Maya...maybe someday lol

I do however use Blender and was wondering if I could recreate or try to recreate this model and rig in Blender??

Omg so hallarious that you made this little guy. When i did a bit of 2d we had to animate that exact same sack, frame by frame, i thought it was soooo evil, but now you have brought him into the 3d world, damn you!!! LOL, Really cool rig man!!!

Man amazing rig :) I did a quick test only to see the controls and works fine... i will do some animation tests with the rigging and post here soon

As mentioned above I have taken bsb312 flour sac rig as insperation to rig a similar thing in Blender

I need to get a copy of blender.Im not familiar with it. Would it be possible to post a larger image and even a rig demo?

Thanks for the feedback i'm currently loooking to implement stretchy arms and legs into the rig to give it further deformation possibilites :)

Hay mate

We used your character (and Andy rig) in a college project animation we did. It's really nice character to animate.

Only thing is, wished it was UV mapped but can't complain.

5/5. Will post the animation soon :)
