Title: Audi A6 Studio Shot
Name: Nicolas Pojmaevich
Country: Argentina
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop, VRay
Just trying to make a nice studio look and composition, I used 3dsmax8, vray and some post in photoshop. The main focus of the image is on the materials, reflections and lighting.
I hope you like it, comments and critics are very welcome.

This is great man. 5* worth.
Ive been trying to get that result but with no success. could you please post a screenshot of your scene to look at the lighting you are using if its not too much bother?
Thanks in advance.
P.S. Espero que su querido loco Bielsa nos salve y le devuelva la dignidad a nuestra selección que hace tanto tiempo no la encuentra. Yo por lo menos le tengo fé.
Saludos.

can i ask where you learnt to create those front head lights, as far as car models go, i think the lights make or break the realsim, and yours certainly made it :)
looks incredible.

Indeed very nice rendering. Especially the silver paint looks perfect. but you have very ugly bumps in your mesh!
All those lines coming from the reflections of your lightplanes should go straight over the body, not in Waves. I know that it's very hard to do a good carmodel with polys, but you can fix this easily in post if you split the rendering into passes.
Lightsetup looks superb!
cheers

Hi people, thanks for the kind words....
@DerPapa: you are probably right about those bumps, is not a modelling exercise, is just about materials, composition, lighting, reflections, btw: I saw your Audi Q7 A M A Z I N G!!
@wheelie: about the headlights: the only way to get them right is to build them a 100% 3d, go to a car dealer and take pictures of the car your building. right now I wanna buy a tailight and destroy it in a million pieces, just to see whats going on in there.
@ajfavaron: Im gonna make a back camera to show taillights later, I got too much work now, later man...
@berardi: go here http://www.cg-cars.com you will learn a lot, and please let me introduce you to my biggest hero in 3d www.suurland.com
