This image oddly resembles Luis Royo's Eye-Liner Labyrinth. (http://rivendell.fortunecity.com/redguard/636/royo/18.html)
The first time I seen it was on the cover of Airbrush Art+Action February 1999.
I often use artists like Royo or Vallejo, as my inspiration also. I try to emulate their shading techniques and style.
