View Full Version : Prisoner Rage & Food? in progress, Help Needed!!

On Top is <Prisoner's Rage>
Below <Food?>

Im currently in the process of working on both, but im stuck as i do not know how to continue the work. For <Food?> i just kind of feel that the approach might be wrong and having problems with the trees and the main character in pink, i started by doing a grey tone of it and add in colour, is it the dark tone being too much grey or what im not sure. REally needed HELp here.

As for <Prisoner's Rage> i find that i seems to concentrate into the detail, are there ways that i can save time at the same time and improve the painting? is the nerves too much?

OR is IT i have not Put in Enough effort? i Hope u can tell me.
Greatly Appreciate any critics to the painting.

well for food. I like the pink character i think it looks good, the only thing that bothers me are the trees they look too flat, the only advice I can give is to use reference.
and for prisioners rage, why dont you start blocking the mases instead of starting adding details? I mean first add the main values to all the painting until all you've got left is the blending and then you concentrate on detail. just a thought though.

Thanks! u mean putting in all the dark and light tone of the major shape before continue to do the detail?

For the Food, i am sort of stuck and do not know what to continue...when i look at bobby's chiu painting..then i look at mine...sort of STUCK..Haha..any advice where or how to continue to make it a success?
