Title: Cheese Platter
Name: Jamie Hau Ming Li
Country: USA
Software: Maya, mental ray, Photoshop

I created this image for my demo reel. And this image got published in the October 2007 issue of 3DCreative magazine and the online magazine of CGArena's in October 2007. Later, it was a feature tutorial on the home page of www.cgarena.com from November 2007 to January of 2008. It is also one of 2 food tutorials featured on the home page of www.mymentalray.com as well.

Wow, glad to see that you found a specialization that suits you. Wish you the best of luck. I meant to comment on your last piece. So how are you comming on your classes and all. Seems like so long ago that I was up there.
And about the tutorial...did you already write one or is that something you are going to be working on?...I'm'ma send you an e-mail too so be on the lookout for that.

Peace

Oh yea, can you post up a quick wireframe so we can see what was done by the shaders.

Glad you like it. You can see the wireframe from 3dcreative.com. And also cgarena.com

Yes, I already wrote it and published it. And you can download it from cgarena for free. I modeled everything. They are 90% Skin shaders. Very expensive to render.
I am less than 3 weeks away from graduating. I hope I can get a job soon.

I am working on a photorealistic sushi scene and fixing my fruit tart scene for my reel. I'll post them when I am done.
