CGTalk - Problem with texture map

I am working on a project in 8.5 and am having problems getting the texture map to appear.
The texture is a lambert with a link to a file displaying the squirrel.

When I render the only thing that appears are the eyes. I do not even get the model in grey shape.

Anyone have a clue? All help is appreciated.
