View Full Version : geometry disappearing batch render

Ok i am rendering a scene where i use references for sets and for characters. when i render in maya single frame all geometry si where it suppose to eb but whne i render batch aniamtion two trees disappear.
I dont ahve a clue what is ahppening. Can somebody help me.

i had a similar problem a few months ago, id lose my ground plane when batch rendering. in the end, recreating the camera solved the problem.

thx for suggestion, but it still didnt help. Hope somebody else has a solution.

In Maya 8.5 there was a bug where referenced NURBs objects won't batch render - got fixed with SP1 - could that be it?

This might be a problem of the referencing. Go, in the Reference Editor, to File > Import Objects from Reference. This seems to make them native to the scene, and no longer referenced. This has helped me when referenced objects disappeared.
