View Full Version : MR not rendering Transparency
renderAHH 10-07-2007, 07:15 PM hi, i have an object with a material applied to it with a file color+alpha mapped (nothing unusual) when i render it in software, everything looks fine and its cuts out the object perfectly, now when i try to render in MR, it shows black where its transparency should be... any suggestions, or am i missing something?

increase you'r ray tracing options in MR tab setting
1 is one plane
2 is two plane
if you got 4 plane to go through soo check 4 for reflectivity refraction and also the third one

in 2008 ther is a new option called use alpha Illuminance
or something alogn these lines (dont have maya now)
ou can trigger it from the AE of the texture OR the Prefernace
