hi,

i am texturing a server but i cant get the right material. this is making me mad i tryd everything to get it right. the current settings are :

lambert : RGB(199,194,185) diffuse :0.8 or 0.6.
the light is just a spotlight 1,2 or 1,4 i have try'd both

i need the material like the picture below.

Material is close enough. You need to focus on lighting, more than just a single spotlight. Look into Global Illumination.

do i need another render engine for GI ?

Depends on your 3d software. 3ds max 5 has a built-in one that's pretty basic, but should be fine for this.

You don't have to use gi, I think three point lightning will to the trink, tutorial:

and yeah, that material is close unough
