well...i agree in part...

Animations are hard to critique 'cause they've to be downloaded and it wastes a lot of bandwith. I don't know what's Ur connection, but I have a DSL 256 and i am downloading lots of things and the animation would late one or 2 hours 2 download and then, i'm not in the forum. I am making 3D, or with my girlfriend or at school.
Btw, yes, lately people answers less to the posts that aren't visually atractive or the contrary, beginer things that must be improved a lot. At least they'd give an opinion of intermediate levels to motivate a bit.

Btw, i downloaded ur animation and i don't see anything in quicktime sorry, it's not my computer.

Luck!

The character's movement is very slow. It could be done in a lot less time. It's a straightforward concept. Have him light quickly, bend down, and set fire to the path. There's too many sources of light for the character.... looks like 3 points of light plus the lighter. This is visually confusing. And when the lighter flares up, it's too slow to be convincing as fire. Please make it burst into flame faster. You might even make the character jump a little as it ignites.

Also, please add something to indicate where the fire will go... It just magically goes the right way and leaves the viewer unimpressed. Since you don't want to give away the logo shape with the flamable area, you might have the camera follow along as it catches fire so that the whole logo is never seen.

I do like the color choices and the staging. It's pleasing and simple, but I think the whole thing could be done in a lot less time.

Good luck on your project.
