Hello again!

I am now currently in-production for my Third Movie called "Humpty Dumpty Can't Lose". This movie explores what happens when the little egg rebels against its fate and refuses to die.

I am building shots for this movie by creating the back-most objects first and coming forwards to make the main objects closest to camera last.

Right now I have the Sun and the Clouds that form the backdrop.

The intent is for a "Story Book" look and feel. Any feedback and criticism is welcome as well as suggestions on how to enhance the "Story Book" effect.

Thanks!

not to be negative, but should the sun have that much shadow on itself? good luck btw.

Actually, I've been vacillating about that as well. In some story books, I see artists render the sun as a yellow "ball" complete with shadowing. I could try something along the lines of eliminating all the shadow though.....

nah, actually i think i can see what you were going for, and i think you might want to play around with the translucency setting in the materials tab and see if that helps(or maybe even a tiny bit of emit).. ;)

Will put up more updates as it comes.

Thanks again for the great suggestions! :)
