Hello!
I,m new and I only have 24 daysfor this challenge.
This is an sketch from a happy soldier dancing in the middle of a war, wearing his 'weapons': grenades, a machine gun, pink pair of tights...
I'll work this concept

Welcome aboard, good to see that you are quick and to the point! Looks like a fun start. Perhaps he was ordered to take the point, and stay on his toes while his ballet heritage cause some confusion? Hope that tutu covers everything.

Here another design for a similar concept: A militar observing a bee flying around flowers while his superior is shouting at him, they are fighting in a battle!!!

I'd sketched the background and correct ed the militar's torso anatomy. I'm working hardly today !!

I've detailed the militar, moore working on the background, contrast and detail and the tank. I also added a light like a focus at the right and I think looks better.

I've made the tutu and updated some lights and shadows on the character.
I think the character and the background aren't integrated yet. Could someone help me?

This is a tough one! I do think the reason he is not integrated well is because the lighting on the character is far from the scene lighting. He seems a bit too much in a spot light and well lit when the atmosphere is orange and dark. You can always fix that but it will be A LOT easier once you get your other elements in the image. You obviously know exactly what you want from the lead character so do everything else and come back to him. Maybe you will see exactly what you need to see then. :thumbsup:

Oh... He is too much in our face by the way. Also he is so much in the center of the composition that I can't at the moment see anything else going on in the scene even if you put things there.

I've started to include militar elements on the soldier. The first is the helmet(includes a heart tattoo). After that I'll include grenades, a gun, maybe bullets...
Thanks Hiun, I've tought about your comments and I've experimented with lights. At this time a spotlight, evoking a theatre, he is dancing on the stage ( war stage...;) ) And looks better... I think...

Not only does it look better, it makes a lot of sense. The funny thing is that the spot light idea actually came up in my mind after I said it and I thought maybe I should suggest it to you. But I see that I certainly didn't have to! :D Very nicely executed!:thumbsup:

Only 9 days!!! I'm near to the end of my illustration. I've made the hands, updated the background with more fire and detailing all little bit.

Hi! you know what... he needs pompoms on his nipples - this image is so strange and absurd i can't imagine his nipples bare! Pompoms wherever!

To help define the form, try adding some intensive reflections from second left light source. Of course it's obviously well rendered already! Good lack mate!

I've added the trousers on the floor. I'd like to add a jacket and a gun too. So we'll have a militar stripper and dancer... I think the scene is explained better with his clothing around him.

Sure does explain it a lot better having his clothes on the floor close to him. Hahahahaha!! Actually when I saw it I imagined myself in the scene and I was too in battle and I looked over to a colleague in battle with a shocked face saying " :curious:Yeah... yeah... :hmm: he's taking it off"

I've added two characters in the backdground. One on the left side, popping up his head and the other on the right side appearing from the tank. Now the soldier is not alone(there is a helicopter pointing him with a spotlight)...

Final refinements. a little more contrast on the whole picture, make lighter the jacket, more light rays (specially behind his hands) and some incidence of the light explosion behind the soldier on his body and tutu.
