CGTalk - textures not showing in texture mode??

View Full Version : textures not showing in texture mode??

Hello,
I'm having a really weird problem. I've put some textures on a cube and i can't see the textures in any view unless i view>texture editor. As soon as i close the texture editor all the views (even though in 'texture' mode) just show a shaded view.
Also the texture doesn't get rendered. Any ideas?

p.s. the view mode was 'texture' in all cases, even tried texture decal but that didn't make any difference either.

what version do you use?

I am stick to 3.01

Sometimes I have problem that image texture appears red in propery tab and does not render (don't know why this is happening though). After restarting XSI it works ok...
