Hi,
Your subject line seems a bit misleading considering you're asking for a keyboard shortcut to transform a selected area in Painter 7.
In any case, there is no default keyboard shortcut for Effects > Orientation > Free Transform but you can program the F or Shift+F keys to initiate this command:
Preferences > Function Keys
If you don't know how, read the following:
Painter 7 Help > Help Topics > Contents tab > Basics
In the left panel, click Basics to expand the list of chapter subjects, then click Setting Preferences.
Click Setting Preferences to expand the list of sub sections and click Function Keys.
In the right panel, at the top of the page, you'll see the sub section named Function Keys.
All sorted now , thanks for that. :)

Check for interpolation quality between the two programs (Painter/PS) as they're not necessarily the same. I haven't reviewed the latest version of Painter, but recent versions of Photoshop seem to produce a cleaner result.
