Now this Question must be easy for somebody..
Max into mudbox, then mudbox back into Max after sub-dividing.
Where are my UV's? They dissapear?
Any way to keep them?

That should work just fine. Are you sure you have uvs checkmarked on your obj exporter in max?

Hmmmm....Yes think so.
I'll have another look tonight, but last night was definately not remebering them.
Somebody else told me that it should remember them also...

Another thing to try. Once you're in mudbox with your mesh, try doing a displacement map export. If it works, then at least you know your mesh made it into mudbox with its uvs intact. If it fails, then the mesh may not have uvs in it from the export stage from your 3d app.

maybe if mudbox used the fbx extention it would work. i heard fbx files hold uv's better than obj

Well, considering skymatter just got bought by autodesk, and autodesk owns fbx, I think it's very likely to see that functionality in the future.
