Hi, just wondering. Why doesn't blender work with my monitor at 1440*900 resolution. It works fine on 1280*1024 but i use my normal 1440*900 and its just a black screen.. Am i missing something ?

Thanks

Not that this is of great help, but no problems here running Vista Home Premium...

You are probably going to have to give a few more details so people can figure out what the problem could be...

OK, well my gfx card is an ATI Radeon 9600, its on a 22" LG LCD display... On my work PC, same res, 1440*900, and it works fine... I switch my res to 1280*1024 and it works fine... :S

22" @ 1440x900? That's low res for that screen. Should be 1680x1050. (assuming it's widescreen).
Runs fine on my 17" 1440x900 iMac G5 with nvidia fx5200 ultra.
at work, (where I have to use 3ds Max), my 24" screen at 1920x1080 works great with blender on an nvidia quadro fx 3500.
Must be a driver thing (either a setting, or a bug in the driver itself

my graphics card is PANTS, thats probably why i cant increase the resolution any more... I'll get the latest drivers for it.. Im looking at building a new pc anyway....
