Grimmophon is a twisted version of your grandma's music playing device.
It features a projector ,speakers and many valvular and fully analogic controls to produce music and images.

This picture was done as cover for demoreel#01 by Auntnancy, a group experimenting in live jam sessions with music (electronic drums and synth and classic violin) and video live mixes (stock footage and original 2d-3d graphics)


Softwares used is rhino ,3d max and vray.

The video has been mixed live (using resolume vjing software and a midi controller to scratch); The source material is mainly Creative Commons stock footage, but there's also some 3d and 2d original clips... of course much simplier than the cover, But animation rendertimes -and generally 3d times- are quite a pain for vjing. Where you need hours of video for a show. Also considering this is a buggetless projects .. (all done for learning and for ..uhm.. "Fun" :D)
