looks like a wip, seems to need more depth in the backgrround. and perhaps a higher quality background. looks like a low res image as a backround. looks to be too baren, thins like shrubs, grass, and other minor details would give it more realism. looks good though.

The whole depth of field thing is out of place if you are trying to create a realistic exterior. It makes it look like a miniature. The reast needs more detail to really work, but keep onto it .... it'll be worth perservereing with I'm sure:)

Cool...thanks for the suggestions. It's always good to get a fresh perspective from the outside...:)

the shadows on the ground are too sharp for something thats supposed to be outside...try to soften the shadows...but looks nice...looks like a battle field for warhammer minitures :)

The mountains look very Bryce-esque. An example of this would be that you can see the water in the left side. Try to cover that up, or extend the land so that no water is showing.

And i have NO idea what that hunk of green land is in the middle of the picture- maybe... a rock..?

Try to make some variety in those pillars- change the height of the middle one, maybe make different models so that they aren't chipped in the exact same way.

Generally the more time invested in modeling, the better the quality of the image. You gotta try to spruce things up a bit.

Some more suggestions: Depending on your modeling program, make grass out of some hair grower (like Sasquatch). Add that hair/grass around the ground, especially concentrating around the base of the pillars.

If the pillars were indeed standing around for quite a while, shouldn't they be slightly indented in the ground?

Instead of using a texture/bump map for that rocky area at the bottom, either model the actual rocks or use a more profound displacement map- the shadow makes the viewer able to tell that the ground is actually perfectly flat, and they will feel decieved for it.

I would like to see some flowers around the hill- some on the hill to the left, and some on the hill to the right. Your clal their though.
