treed 04-08-2003, 12:34 AM I doing a project and I'm wanting to know how to create fire in Afterburn? I've seen some animation examples, but dose anyone know where I could find a max file so I can look at the settings of the fire? :eek:

It depends on a lot of things. AB isn't really designed for licks of flames the way Phoenix is. It's best used for fireball or large scale moving fire effects. The trick is to create an gradient in the Ambient channel that goes from yellow, to orange,to red to black over the age of the particles. That and add an Explode daemon to create the proper flame look.

Oh by the way Brandon, nice job on the Intermedia logo. I loved the spashes of water when the words came out of the ocean.
