Title: Geisha
Name: Lukasz Pazera
Country: United Kingdom
Software: Painter, Photoshop

Hello,

The idea for this image came when I was working on a tv commercial involving a lot of little CG Geishas ;). It took quite a while to finish this off. I used walking Geisha pretty much as an excuse to paint another forest ;). I hope You'll enjoy this picture!

Love it Lukasz. You don't need excuses to paint someting as beautiful as this. The colours just sing. Great stuff.

Thank You!!!

Teaman: Leaves are a last stage of painting. First I use bigger strokes to work all the areas out both in color and shape so when I start detailing I do not have to think about general problems like composition or light. Especially that I need to paint on a big closeup. Leaves are pretty much a lot of little dabs so it takes quite a few hours to fill whole picture :) But I like building the image intensity by using a lot of details. For this pic I used custom Painter's artist oils brushes mostly. Some oil pastels too.

Colt51: Geisha is painted in 8k so I hope to do some large canvas prints (100x70cm) one day, I'm quite anxious to see it big as well!

this is so gorgeus.. one of my favourites in Exposé by far =). Congratulations, you've made a very remarkable and memorable piece of art in almost like a classic way, like Aurelius also mentioned earlier :) 5 * of course!
