hi everyone. I'm fangyu. Though I'm a recruit,CG is my favorite hobby. And i 'd love to meet every new friend who likes painting. Virtually,I know now it's very late to begin. I just wanna paint something and have some fun.Hope all of us could play happy~: )

Okay~,start~!haha

the story is about two strange housemaids. They both envy the hostess. For getting the positiong of the hostess, they planed to put poison in the hostess's tea and then inherit the property of the hostess and elope with the hostess's lover.

The two strange housemaids are really freakish. Once ,When the hostess was out, the alike twins freakish housemaids started to play games about the hostess and the housemaid. Claire played hostess and her sis played Claire.

But in the end....the performance became truth.... Claire drunk the poison and died..

I think what I like most about your piece is that there is a somewhat detailed story behind it, not just an image with an obvious relation to the theme "Strange Behavior". You do have your work cut out for you I must say. I too just recently started so I know the feeling of having to press against time. When I got the news that the deadline is extension! ~Wow,great! haha. How exciting!,and now i got the time to finish this work. The very work I really wanna do.

I entered on OCT 2. It's already too late. I knew. but I didn't know there would be so much work up to my eye through the whole October. haha!oops.......Even I haven't had a nice sleep . Always working at the theater,or busy in the spot in other regions, or be occupied in studies....These matters once let me feel despair. Cuz it seems that to complete the work according to my schedule wasn't possible.

Now,I would never leave this troops any more. !
I will walk with all friends here together till the last.

Then ,one day,when I go back home from the theater,
to use shadow flash across in my mind.
so I consider to use shadow to perfomance devil which tight hold the three small and weak angel.

okay, haha ,virtually the process of conceive the outline took me so much time.
I think over it everytime ,everywhere. haha!


I try to conceive the outline every time. As you see the picture.
At first ,I decide to use some classic element ,and I think the style must be classical and beautiful to match with the story. I've been follow this viewpoint through the whole process. But ...the viewpoint of angel and shadow isn't not very good. I use to prepare not to let the hostess appear and let the dying maid to be the leading role.
But then, I think it will make the story too simple. And , the angel viewpoint is the nuisance of the appearance. Cuz the meaning of it can't serve the story very well. Also, here,I discover the horizontal composition is a little lax..Thus,I tried some prependicular composition. Not bad.

This is the scene that appeared in my dream.
One day , I got a dream . I dreamed a misty figure--the hostess carry on the back to me.I can't see her face ,her head. It's buried in the shadow.She took a littel person portrait,facial expression on that is very cunning.

And I always think of the relationship of the roles --between the hostess and the maidservant, between the two maidservents.
Once, it really let me have a terrible headache.haha

You got some amazing work going on here! :eek: Your black/white painting style is very good! You also got the elements of this image fusing together very good - it all just works!

A little thing that I want to bring you aware of: it seems you're really rushing for the deadline, but the deadline has been extended 2 weeks! I don't know if you could use that information, but it would be sad to skip some sleep in this occassion. ;)

I always very dissatisfied to the composition of the work.

Very sorry for not to update the process in time. Cuz I really have no time. These year I was too busy. But I did want to paint a work for myself. ! I 'm serious. I like painting .yes. Painting will be the companion of my life forever. I'm so happy.

After Claire Died
Little purple flowers will never awaken her.

elfs hide in the dark place to appreciate this human life tragedy..
The prince of the spirit appear, he queried Claire’s sis, said:"Why… You poisoned your younger sister?"

"No , no ,not me" The sis explained with a weak voice.
"I didn't want to poison her"
"It’s herself, just she want to poison herself..It isn't me ..Please don't ask any more.."She cried. Tears became blood.

At the same time, , the hostess appeared..
Floated from portrait painting on the wall.
Watching the good play very cunningly.
It is she.that.Manipulate all these.Till now ,her craftiness just exposed .
she is a phantom.She ‘s making fun of two housemaids.

All phantoms pay attention to the alive person..
Seems that the another who ‘s dead has already been away from the hubbub….

In 1999,Sarah kane’s suicide was terrible. A suicide attempt with sleeping pills was unsuccessful but a few days later on 20 February 1999 she hung herself in the hospital where she was being treated.

I just hope to God that death is the fucking end corrosive doubt. I dreamt went to the doctor´s and she gave me eight minutes to live. I´d been sitting in the fucking waiting room half an hour."

It reminds me a lot. Why some choose to die in advance ,others choose to live? Whether life is fair or not?
If it is fair ,then suicide must be a strange behavier.
If it is not fair, then… isn’t suicide a strange behavier? Yes. It is.
We usually think that the person who killed himself is too strange. Or maybe we can understand it ,maybe he or she has some pain and suffering that he/she can’t bear.
But whether we can say the suicide is a kind of normal behavior or not? Or physchosis is another kind of normal? I don’t think so.
But yes ,we can say any behavior has its reason.
The reason helps realize motive,the motive heps realize destiny. It is the life. These will be stories. Then we tell others the story.
This is the cause of the theme that I want to express.

Abut the carrier of the work ,I used the basic story about freakish maids to express my viewpoints.

In my work, there are so many roles.
But in such roles ,only one is alive----the alive maid. Just she is the only one alive human being. Others are some Elfs ,a evil phantom and a gone maid.
Except the dead ,other roles all pay attention to the alive. Their existence and truth of the gone maid makes the alive maid be placed in a mess and abuzz environment . she desire quiet and peace.
But in fact, quiet and peace is just her impossible realization wish.
Her circumstances is all confusion.
EVEN She can’t have any peace time to go feel sad for herself. She has been watched by others all the time! She’s got mad.
On the other hand, the dead maid lie leisurely on the ground. She keep off what she fear to by su icide. Seems she ‘s got her own peace and quiet. her wish finally fulfilled. “Death. Not being.�<blasted>.
It seems that The death brings the dead lasting peace.

and this is what I wanna ask and tell you.
How to face the pain and sufferings in life when we are despair and collapse?

Hey Fangyu, I really don't think it matters. Did your thumbnail show up after you uploaded the final image?? If it did, I really don't think you have a problem. But you should definately contact Mibus to make sure. It would really be sad to not have your piece accepted.
