ACM SIGGRAPH and the GRAPHITE 2007 e-Cinema committee invite you to participate in the 5th International Conference on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques in Australasia and South East Asia, GRAPHITE 2007 e-Cinema and full dome program.
The GRAPHITE 2007 e-Cinema and full dome program is an event showcasing some of the world's freshest and most innovative computer graphic and interactive techniques presented on one special night at GRAPHITE 2007. The works featured in the e-Cinema spans Film and TV, simulation, experimental works, technical presentations and animation. Whether you are scientist or entertainer, superstar or novice, studio or student, professional or amateur, this event will educate, entertain and amaze.

The e-Cinema program will showcase material that demonstrates innovative computer animation or image processing techniques or that explains technical details of research development. It will include material of scientific, artistic, entertainment and cultural value.
Subject matter may include any form of visual representation that employs computer-generated imagery, suitable for single-screen projection : animation, motion graphics, entertainment technologies, visual effects, scientific and medical visualisation, interactive technologies, research and development, education, architecture, art and design, music, dance, interactive performance, narrative works, non-narrative works, experimental works, game development and design, commercial productions for film and broadcast, and student productions.

The full dome program will incorporate material from a broad range of disciplines, including scientific visualizations, animated shorts, show trailers, works-in-progress, student art projects and experimental works.
The full dome program will be exhibited at GRAPHITE 2007 on one of the highest quality digital domes in Australia at Horizon - the Planetarium. The e-Cinema and full dome committees are accepting submissions until the 31st of October. Accepted entries will be notified by the 9th of November and will be advertised in on the GRAPHITE 2007 website.
