well done rendering martin!
the lighting and arrangement is great!
you could improve the waterside and grass.
put some 3D grass, where grass should be. use hair or fur shader, or put some good arranged planes with alpha tex on it.
also the grass thats blurring into the riverbank is very linear. this could be enhanced by a non regular transition. also it fades very slowly into the stone or sand.
would be more natural, when you had a hard transition. grass then directly stone then some grass bushes here and there.
the sand texture could be enhanced. is it sand or stone?
and i'm not a friend of 2D people. if you use them for illusion to show the house in "action", then take the time to put also some props into the scene, like a barbeque, ash tray, a jacket over some chair, some toys on the grass from the kids and so..
but that is perhaps not, what the client wants to see ;)

I think the people really take away. The blur on the dude with his back to the camera kinda kills it for me, and the people aren't reflected in the water. Everything else looks fantastic, but they just look like an afterthought.

Nice work; like this picture really!
Could I ask you with what programs you made this?
I'm a ArchiCAD draftsman so I have my building in 3D (BIM).
Where do I have to start to create those stunning images?
Software I have is ArchiCAD, Cinema 4D, Artlantis and 3ds max.
With ArchiCAD I create the BIM, so I have the detailled 3D model.
I have worked with Artlantis before to create animations.
But I did not have worked with Cinema 4D and 3ds max before.
Thanks so far.
