Hi
Sorry for this really basic particles question but I'm trying to render a still of quite a few contrails criss crossing each other (using Maya 7.0)
I'd like something like this
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v240/f1969ob/640px-Contrailfourengined.arp.jpg
At the moment I have this
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v240/f1969ob/contrail_test_01.jpg
Ideally as the particles get further away from the jet I'd like to increasingly churn their position up, spread them out, add randomness to their positions.
Currently my particles increase in size the further they travel (radiusPP connected to a ramp + particle cloud shader with a cloud texture mapped onto the blob map).
So any suggestions how I increase the noise at the far end of the contrail?
thanks in advance
