Here is some my experyment with faces;)
I think he will be angry and she will be smiling, but not too much..

On first screen I use Part of koncept,as lineart (it has details and some shadow). I just add 2 colors(green and Skin kolor ).
Then are my Experiments with midtones and Highlights.

very nice work. i like the details you put on the background especially the water it really compliments the courtship. maybe add some reflections and it will be fine.

Hey dont be upset for not having so much comments here in this thread. Your quality of work should never depend on what other thinks about it. Whether theres plenty of comments or just few, you can do whatever within your capability to do.

so, just ignore those negative feelings and it will go away. by the way i too dont have much commentators on my thread but it doesnt matter; anyways i am not a people pleaser and will never will. if somebody wants to drop an honest comment thats fine but i can do with or without it.

a great start I think, the colors are working already and the execution is great so far, very promising
2 crits: first I think this creatures are called Centaurs and not Cyclops (it`s the big guy with a single eye)^^
second crit is about the girl; at the moment her whole body looks like it`s falling to the side a bit, if you make the upper or the lower body more vertical it would look better imo

The courtship of Centaurs is good example of Strange behaviour.
Male of Centaurs have to waste a lots of enegy & time to reach a goal.
If Female is to obstinate,or Male is not strong enough, the genre is lost...
At least Female behaviour is often Strange for Males ,
and Male behaviors are often strange for females....

and Not updated STORY:

The courtship of Centaurs is good example of Strange behaviour.
Male of Centaurs have to waste a lots of enegy & time to reach a goal.
