Title: Runner
Name: Sam Leung
Country: Canada
Software: Photoshop

I just finished this piece today. It took me about 12 hours. I got this idea from a show i was watching about track and field. It was sketched out and painted in photoshop. I like the effect of the snow, gives it a nice soft effect. Hope you all enjoy it. Please comment and give me feedback, improvements etc.

Absolutely amazing. I am always a fan of snow in pictures and combined with the soft background, gives it a hazy cold feeling. The lighting I find to be especially well done, bright and snowy. The grass is great done as well.

Very well done.

I was going to say that the "1" on the track looked too worn, then I realized that it would be worn, as runners will take the inside lane as soon as possible during a race. I think the hair could use a bit of a wind-blown look, but it doesn't detract from the over-all piece. Lovely.

You achieved a very realistic background here because its textures. Perhaps you could have use some textures on the girl too, so that she was a little more integrated with the background, but that's only my point of view. BTW nice work. Cheers:)

I agree with Varges about integrating the girl more. The anatomy also looks a little bit off, her hands seem too small. Nice composition and movement, well done :)
