View Full Version : Maya animation problem
VladimirS 10-02-2007, 12:59 AM I have a newbie problem, new to animation :). A simple circle, some object set to "float" on it, attach to motion path. Animation is 1500 frames long and the object must travel 2 full circles. I just can't manage to do it, as i said - new to animation.
Thanks for any assistance.
btw it must be done in Maya 6.5

Problem solved. It's quite simple, if someone down know how do this: first select your object, then in Window/Animation Editors/Graph editor select end point and do Curves/Post Infinity/Cycle. Thats all :).

I'm a little unclear as to exactly what needs to happen. Do you need the object to just fly around the same circle two times?

Yeah, just that. At first it just circled once, and if I try to set frame 750 at the beggining of the circle nothing happened after (between 750 and 1500), it just stood there. So the thing mentioned above helped. In Cinema there are % between keys so this was confusing.
