Title: jaguar on ice
Name: Berislav Kovacic
Country: Croatia
Software: Lightwave 3D, Photoshop

This project was done to test Lightwave 9.3 features.

It is very heavy on details and scene count around 8 000 000 polys since land is heavy subdivided. Render was done in passes and composite in pshop.
Fprime was choice of renderer and render time was not so big and original image size is 6000 pixels.
Also i have to give credits to TRUEART plugin developer for great spline tool easyspline.

thanks .. original image size is 6000x3000 pixels and it was rendered in separate passes so i can composite in pshop.

since i testes some of new lw 9.3 features it takes render time.
land/sky took 5h and car itself took 40 minute to render on that resolution.

Looks nice - one thing that stands out amongst all the detail is that there is no mechanical detail behind the wheels - they look like they're floating in the wheelarches. Might be worth knocking together some wheels hubs/driveshafts/suspension...
