Hello me again,

Another problem in completing something for my media coursework.

I have made a nice shiny Ray appear, set to effects channel 1

It emits from an object with a skin (opacity set at 0%) with its G-buffer set to 1

however i would like to make it appear behind the sword. When moving this object behind the sword it suddenly becomes shy.

If anyone knows what im doing wrong it would be fantastic to know, thanks alot for your time

James

Turn your occlusion down to zero, and turn on "glow behind". Should do the trick.

avoid MAX's video post effects. they are not... let's say, that useful. :scream:

render the sword and the environment separately and work in Photoshop (if u r working still image) or After Effects if ya r stick to animation... :buttrock:
