Hi,

I want to learn visual effects in detail, i am working on afx since last 3 years and want to strengthen my knowledge in compositing and vfx. Can anybody out here can guide me to good universities, institutes which are offering 6-9 months courses on VFX which are in line with hollywood requirements.

www.fxguide.com has some pretty nice composting classes that are vfx central.

Ton's of compositing training and exercises in many high-end compositing tools.

fx guide has http://www.fxphd.com with 3 month courses in many high-end effects apps.

These are the first two that come to mind.

ive just signed up to FXphd. Going to do, Maya : rendering and lighting, Zbrush, and either intro to fusion, nuke or shake, not sure which though.
