splutterfish have uploaded a couple of images+ 1 animation to their tech gallery that use 3d motionblur.

I loved those maxman images that used the motionblur so these look very cool imo.

I know it's early days yet and they've concentrating on stable code before doing speed optimisations but what type of speed hit do you get for the full 3d blur? Also I'd be interested in seeing it rendering some overbright objects for the traditional long camera exposure light streaks type effect.

Starting to solve any weaknesses I had with brazil in 1.0 ;)

Rendertimes are really meaninless at this stage. Things could get radically faster or slower by the time it's production usable so any indications on speed at this point are bound to be misleading.
