Title: Nature Does Steampunk
Name: Linda Smith
Country: United States
Software: Photoshop
I did this one for the ImagineFX September Steampunk challenge. I have never done metal before so it was quite a personal challenge for me to paint this. Below is a little detail of the paddleduck. Thanks and enjoy. Comments welcome :)

Really great image Linda. I like a lot the idea, realization and style, looks great. Maybe the metal is too reflective, it could have some more dirt. Anyway it looks really great, congrats!

Thank you mikeldi :) This is the first time I have tried to paint metal so it was mostly guesswork, thank you for the crit on the metal every little bit of advice helps
Dianae - Thank you very much :) I have kind of a looser style so my work usually does not end up super sharp looking. I just hope everything works together as a whole when I paint.
dzordan - thanks for the nice comment :)

Lovely and extremely funny! Would make a great children's book illustration, Linda, it makes me want to know the full story and see all the illustrations for it
Simply delightful, 4 stars.

Thaldir - awww thank you for letting my art make you think :) It makes me feel good when people get a smile or think about a story. I am not sure if I would want to do a whole book full of these little buggers though ha ha.
Thank you CNell for the smile and the compliments :)

Thank you Mat :) I am currently working on another pixelbrush challenge, cute things that bite... right up my alley on that topic. Only thing is I made the file quite big and it is almost all fur, ugh ha ha what was I thinking.

hmmm... thinking.... fur plants, fur from out of space, furm (=furry farm), furry curry (=hairy food), hairy hotmodel with many eyes, kissing hairballs, medeyesa (=medusa but instead of snakes, eyeballs), furry queen... hmmm *brain blocked*
