Aweseomt stuff, textures and lighting sure add a lot to your amazing modelingskills, you may not show a lot of work, but when you do you blow us all away. Keep it up MK.

Great model! If you've been sitting on that model for a bit, we can't wait to see what else you've got up your sleeve!>>>

It would be cool to see some kind of actual pupils in the eyes. Regardless of what they may look like. Red/Black/Glassed over/ one missing (whatever)...Eyes are the gateway to the soul... Scars/tattoos and bloodstains are pretty cool also...i'm sure you've got that all under control...be cool...

Great work Martin, you should work on diffusion and specular maps imho, the modeling's stunning as usual. :)

im not sure it really comes accross in the render. might be some texture filters killing it. or the resolution output of the render you see there. but im not sure the diffuse and spec are to blame. cuz both are very much present

i don't see a problem with the spec. or the bump. I think it looks realistic as is... it doesn't have to be excessively done to look good.

:) a lil fun thinger here

http://ambient-whisper.cgcommunity.com/images_dump/Orc/Orc-head.html

heres a few snaps from a test sequence. only 2 morphs in there.
one linear, the other contains multiple axis information ( rotational for jaw, and linear for lips/skin stretching.

The problem with the specular map is that it should be blueish for that kind of skin.

heres a pic from a while back. the hand has been fixed since. as have other details.

thirdeye: good point.! i thought you meant there was something wrong with the actual maps i used besides the tint.

:)maybe ill give him a body sometime in the future , when i get a new machine. this model is light so thats not a problem. but if i had to texture the whole thing using the same texture dimentions that i used for him sofar. my system would die about 1/2 way through. :)

An excellent model !

One teeensy remark though, RThe skin colour looks a bit too......Human...ish.

Don't hit me!

It should look a bit more....dead...ish...(green, blue accent's)

Or was that your intention??

other that that: Boojeah!
