we all know that if we use subD as our modeling technic, kill the blind data will be one of the best way to increase the speed, but , here is my problem, I modeled a low poly cage first, and changed it into subD,then I add some details on the subD surface, after I finish the details, I decided to delete the blind data to increase the speed, but once I delete the blind data, all detail I made on the subD surface has just gone, is there any thing I did wrong?
thanks for your help!!!

It seems the blind data is actually where the direct subD editing is stored. The way around that is to nly add detail to the poly cage itself and not the actual subD surface and you can kill off the blindPoly data all you like.
