Awesome! I'm jealous! The lighting, modeling, and texturing is done beautifully. I like her lips. The only critique I'd have is that the eyelashes on her right side seem a bit shaggy when the light hits them and it kind of seems like there's a bad fold on her right hand. I'm still in awe though and hope to be able to match your quality one day.

that is really good!
Those are some of the most realistic eyes I have see that are not on a real person.
some of the left eyebrow seems to be missing, and there is someting not quite right about the hands, maby they are a little bit pinched up?

nice girl u could say , I'd like to have a drink with her :)
but I think the bump is quite too detailed on the lips...

Really nice..
Nurbs, right? Well, only crit I have is the already mentioned lip. Looks too bumpy, which gives it a dry look...

ouch, nice! like the first render better than the second.
just one little tiny crit and that's that in the first render, it looks like she has hair on the wrist and up the hand.
I usually don't comment on realistic 3dcharacters, but this one was so great I had to!

Great job.
I do have some suggestions that may help take these images to the next level. (1)try to vary the secularity and the diffuse just a little more. Especially on a fall off from the camera. i.e. frensel.
(2)Think about oily areas like the corners of the nose and around the eyes. And for some really realistic effects try using reflections instead of secularity. Use very subtlety it is quite nice looking.
(3)Also a luminosity ramp on the incidence/camera angle helps simulate the light catching on the tiny hairs we have on our face.
Oh yeah and the pupils seem a little large.
Sorry for the long crit. I really like theses picture and I think about this stuff all the time. You obviously know what you are doing, I just thought I would throw some of this stuff out.
Great Job!

I´m in love...:o
Is she modeled completly from scratch? Any photos or reference? I think I recognice her from somewhere...
I think that in the first render the hand on the cheak feels just a bit too thick. And if you would pose the second render with a smile and a glance or something she would look so hot... mm mmm mm
Otherwise Great. really great!
Keep it up.

Congratulations on two very nicely done pieces and it's great to see someone conveying a lot of character in their models. My biggest query on both pieces have to be the lips which to my mind are over worked in both bump and specularity. That being said they're both really great pieces and hope to see more soon. :)

amazing modelling and all, thumbs up
BUT (yeah, that frigging "but" again!!!)
Well
-the lips are pretty weird, try to make them more constant, as to the coloring (picture no.1), and the specularity is way up high.
-Also, how bout more natural eyes (last pic)
-Plus, watch the lower lip (pic no.2) it looks too small.
I totally LOVE the first picture, it's of the few pictures i've seen where the person looks sweet. Did you use any reference? She looks completely angelic!! (man, I REALLY need a date)
Having said that, i would like to suck the inspiration and talent off your brain....did I say that out loud?

Hey Vision master thats just beautiful. really one of the few characters i have seen that really look sweet like they just said, my ctritics would be that yea there is something a little bit weird about the lips, and on the second picture her skin looks too dry, just like koryh said it need to look a bit oily, like moistured. but Im really amazed!! BRAVOOOO!!

they're all pretty awesome especially that second girl she looks like she's got some history behind her, but her hair is a bit too smooth, and the first lady looks like a really good drawing! the third girl (one with the tongue out) is pretty good but her tongue is kinda facing in the wrong direction as if it's not attached to her and her eyes have TOO DENSE reflections! i wouldn't tell you these stuff if i didn't like your work, so keep up the good work!:)

Oh yeah and the pupils seem a little large.
Yes, the pupil and iris are a tad too large. Scale them about 10% and you're set!
Also, it would seem you're using "roughness" in the material used for the skin -that needs looking into. If you are using that then that is the reason parts of the skin looks a bit green/blueish and isn't really realistic, rather artistic.
Otherwise, yummy! :)

That´s it OggieBoogie!! I saw her first!
I got seniorety here with 75+ posts contra your... 11+.
Allright, for those who didn´t get it: I´m joking!:D
Visionmaster, I have the most respect for your work and yourself as a person and I humbly ask for forgiveness if I have offended you in any way! (people can be sensetive and I don´t want to make people angry). There culd also be others on this form that seem to be a bit sensetive about anything. ;)
The fact remains the girl on the picture is beutiful. If this really is you? She dosn´t look to be 33 years old like you are. (checked your profile). Maybee an old picture?
Who ever she is she´ll always have a place in my memory.

respect for you henrik, and one more time, for the other here.

I just need to know, how? How do you create these eyes? Is there a story involved? Does she (the character) have a background story? I wasnt kidding, this picture really cought my attention and interest and i am having troubles putting it away.
Could you tell us a little about your techniques?
Are you planing on animating her?
She diserves a much nicer background (girl on the green background). hmmm, ever found youself looking at a picture and just forgetting about everything else?
Cheers!

Hey VisionMaster...
How did you do the eyelashes? Are they a hair system, or actual geometry with an alpha map?
Looks great!!

in fact yes she as a storie. the image is a screen capture from a personal video i make abt alan Moore & Dave gibbons comics :
"THE WATCHMEN".here some more :
it's not completly finish yet and i am looking for a place where i can post the trailer with no restriction of bandwitch and for free....the trailer time is 3m40 with audio, available soon in all format you want.
i profited to post a new picture of the superman i make for another video..i corrected it with your last comments .
for the eye there is no mystery. just study the anatomy of the eye and the "expression" is made with the white reflect into them.
i added a bigger "cornée" than in reality.http://membres.lycos.fr/visionmaster2002fr/hpbimg/watch%201.jpg http://membres.lycos.fr/visionmaster2002fr/hpbimg/grrrr2%20copy.jpg
