This is a still of one of my demo reel assets. The biggest challenge for me was getting the most out of my displacement maps with such a large difference between the low and hi res geometry. . .and keeping them as polys (w/o splitting). Built, textured, lit and rendered in Maya 8.5; hi res was sculpted in Mudbox; Composite was produced in shake.
