I want to make a woman, just to understand max better and to learn the rigging and texturing. If this moddel turn out well I'm gonna use it for my compagny presentation...
Cool, I like the start. I think know what you mean by realistic cartoon (it's sort of what I like to do too) and it's coming along nice. I do think the nose is a but bulbous though (Virtuoso!! I'm starting to use that word too now!!). But i like the mouth!

Bulbous.........Did someone mention that word?;)
Hi Edouard....:wavey: .......Realistic Toon,my favorite category for character creation...
Sceme: Realistic toon is something in-between the real and toon Worlds,I think more like "Caricatures",at least that's my thoughts.
Well that nose is too "Bulbous",that is for sure,if all the other features are or will be as they currently appear. I cannot see your last posts, only a small "red X"....So I cannot comment on your latest up-dates.
If you are going for a true "Caricature" style or "Realistic toon" look I think you should then even Exxagerate the nose or "Bulbous" look even more so.But if it's a toned down version I agree with Mr.Bulbous himself "Wiro" ........... ;) Tone it down some.
I like your start overall,I hope to see more when those red Nasty X's leave the page.
:hmm: ;)
I'll check on you later.

Fixed the triangulair poly's???
Yeh I did that, I have still a few of them but I'll need them in my mesh:D
and for the nose, I am working on it, but everythime I move some faces I get a sort of Micheal Jackson nose, and that wasn't really my ideal nose for this woman.:annoyed:

Hi Edouard................:wavey:
I got your Private message. So let's see what you got with some more tender lovin care.:)
Well I think the new version is a "Total" improvement. Well done.
The tip area has really been cleaned up very well, the "Bulbous' look is "NO more".Those two obstrusive edges are gone,I like the natural smoothness now.
Give us another angle or two if possible.
What is her history, her personality? Alot depends on that for her creation purposes. let us know, and then we can better comment on her creation.
Well I'll wait for more info on her and an up-date from you,I'll get back to you then.Until then see you around the Forums.
Once again I think the new version is a great improvement.Keep at it,she is coming along very well now.
Heya, got your PM too...yeah it really looks much better now, I like the nose. But like other have mentioned, its hard to judge the rest from this angle. The forehead seems a bit off but a different view could show what it is.

and another view
view 2 (http://www.vi2.com/getFile/138506.jpg)
That's a better view! The problems I see are:
the forehead/eyebrowarea needs to be pushed outwards more along the outer face. If you follow the line of the shadow in the render you see it's too diagonal. The forehead needs to be broader before falling off to the sides.
the nose looks much better now but possibly you could move the lower part of the tip upwards a tad. Not really neccesary tho, the still slight bulbousness does add some character
The mouth seems to be the biggest problem right now. The mouth corners protrude instead of being set a bit into the flesh on the sides, giving it a bit an appearance of being "glued on". The corners should be slightly pushed into the cheeks or at least smoothed out. Try to imagine a smile and the folds it makes at the mouth, then go from there for a neutral mouth.
Those are the main areas I can think of right now, hope that helps
