Here are the latest renders. Im still working on the texture, and please ignore the crappyness of the eyes.

I would like to recieve crits and comments on how to make this look more realistic. Thank you all for replying!

 he's looking good..only thing i could crit is that his head looks a little on the thin side if he is supposed to be realistic, but could be just me

Thats a great lookin head so far! very nice. That texture is looking like a pretty excellent start too btw. My only crit would be that the guys head seems too narrow.. its that third and fourth pic thats throwing me for a loop.

Still otherwise, its got alot of character already, an excellent sign of a good model:) nice work

I can't tell if it's just the view of the camera or the model, but the eyes look like they're positioned a bit high. Good job so far.

Rogosh: Yupp, its the perspective alright.

Looks good. No crtiques on the model, but when texturing you need to add some slight spec/shine to the lips and oily parts of the face.

The ambient value of the eyes needs to be reduced as well. Right now they kind of look like they are glowing a little.

Hi people.
I have been away from my computer pretty much. I will probably not be able to work on this head until early next week. Thanks for the replies so far. I would, however, like some more suggestions on how to make this as realistic as possible. Lighting, textureing, stuff like that. I want to keep this thread alive! Woo! :buttrock:

Coming along nicely, although I think the last render is waaayyy too dark :p
I think my main crit is that some of the details in your bump map are a little too bold - such as those wrinkles in between his eyebrows.
Something you might also want to work on are the eyeballs. They don't look wet enough, and you should add some vein details to them :)
Keep going

?

...Ok. I'll just throw some fanfare your way to help you get this nice model finished. Its awesome. Looks nice all interstingly styled tho realistic. Textures look nice ( a little pasty on the forehead there tho and the lips are a bit flat) but its coming along very nicely and i cannot wait to see the whole thing and what its going to be used for.
Goodjob:thumbsup:

the shader seems a bit on the waxy side, but overall I like the texture alot. I would make more apparent 'pores' on the nasal area. When I look at mine I see alot of em over the entire nose, whereas yours seems to be in a few patches. Maybe more 5 o'clock shadow would be appropriate for this guy. Hell its lookin pretty good :)

Are you going to do a body too?
